Bellroy is a global business (founded in Melbourne, Australia) with a bold growth plan. Since we sold our first wallet in 2011, we’ve diversified into tech products, bags and accessories; we’re now a team of 100+ staff, selling in more than 1000 doorways and directly to consumers in 150 countries globally.

We’ve been developing our presence within the Asian retail space for a number of years and currently sell through over 250 doorways in the region (and counting). We partner with large distributors in the region including Seager Inc. and Bluebell Group and are looking for a Sales Manager to help nurture our current distributors and grow new accounts to the next level during our next growth phase. Have 5-10 years' sales experience working for a brand (ideally lifestyle or fashion) wholesaling its line through international distributors and key retailers across Asia. You have some design geek to go with your sales charm. Often the brilliance of our products needs some explanation, which is fine because you're comfortable doing so in a compelling, well-informed and genuine manner.
You know Asia - you might have lived there, worked there, or at least spent a decent amount of time there. You're aware of cultural differences and can adjust your communication style to build relationships and make sales. You’re motivated by a challenge, and by delivering exceptional results for a young brand doing awesome things. At Bellroy, we focus on long-term quality relationships with the right businesses (and people), to ensure our common goals are met. This is a full-time role, based out of our Collingwood Office with WFH flexibility. Occasional domestic and international travel will be required, a car license would be a plus.

'Bellroy' is a fusion of our two homes – Bells Beach and Fitzroy. Bells Beach brings a relaxed, outdoor vibe to balance Fitzroy's creative, urban style. The city and the sea; inspiration and adventure. Together they provide a perfect balance.
Our beach HQ sits behind giant sandstone cliffs that overlook one of Australia’s best-known surfing coastlines. It’s where our Product Designers experiment in the Maker Lab, and our Sales team consume awesome amounts of espresso and Skype bandwidth. Things are more tranquil here than our Fitzroy neighbours and we like the focus that can create. There’s a cafe right next door if you need a quick bite and our 11am surf check always provides the perfect chance to reset the mind with some salt air.
Our Fitzroy space is immersed in the middle of Melbourne’s creative hub. It’s where our Creative, Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams develop campaigns and ensure each Bellroy is sent safely across the world. Walk out the door and you’ll find streets bursting with energy (and the best ramen joint this side of Tokyo). There’s also an olympic-size pool just around the corner for those in need of a lunchtime refresh.
Outside of our two main headquarters we have a team that works remotely - from Western Australia to parts of Asia, the USA and Europe. Being global is at the heart of Bellroy, it keeps us connected, and makes sure we see life from many different perspectives.
